Sally Heselton Gardens

About MeSally in Japanese Garden

I grew up on a farm close by in South Wales with productive gardens. I initially trained in Education in Bath College where my interest in Art and Landscapes started to take hold. After a couple years working in Education I fulfilled an ambition to live in Israel for a year where I worked in the garden and fruit industry. It was there, it became clear that, I had an innate affinity to work in gardens and horticulture. On my return I began working with the National Trust, briefly before re-training at Lackham College in Wiltshire. I have worked in a range of large private gardens caring and developing their look see my portfolio page for examples.

I lectured across a range of courses industry and friendly amateur at Radstock and Lackham colleges. Although, I felt the need return to design and landscaping, I continue to teach (see education) eg Bath Council, schools and individual and group bookings.

I was recently featured by Tesco Greener Living website and the article can be read here.
